t2 Cookbook launch in Park Hotel, Kolkata

Kolkata is a food obsessed city and T2 gifted her with the finest book of recipes on 11th September. T2 in association with Antiquity launched the second edition of the T2 cookbook which was totally packed with party delights. Four Seasons Wines too were a part of this event.

We were invited to the party by Mr. P.P.K Mitter who is in charge of USL Trade Marketing of Wines in Eastern India. The event started at 7:30 pm at The Park Hotel, Pine Banquet. We reached there right on time and were cordially welcomed by Mr. Mitter.

The bar was open and the professional bartenders were busy serving drinks to the high profile guests. The cocktails and whiskies were constantly poured on different glasses and the deft with which the bartenders served the drinks was a real treat to watch.

Meanwhile Tollywood celebrities, famous chefs, fashion designers started to come in and make the
press photographers go ‘click’ ‘click’. Tollywood heartthrob Koel Mullick came at 8:30 and, as always,
became the center of everybody’s attraction.

The starters started to play with our taste buds and we were kept craving for more. Sushi, chicken,
Lamb where the main items served in the starters. The awesome flavor of the food along with a
glass of smooth Antiquity made ‘the’ perfect pairing. As we got engrossed to the food and drinks,
when the live cookout started. Sharad Dewan, (Director, Food production at The Park hotel, Kolkata)
started demonstrating some really delicious recipes from the cookbook and we were asked to taste
the delicacies. Chef Shaun Kenworthy, the celebrated chef of Kolkata and a food columnist, also
demonstrated some of the finest dishes.

As the Live Cookout got over Koel Mullick was asked to release the book which she gladly did. The event got over with a buffet of the best in class food.

Here are some of the pictures from the scene of action.
