Black Dog- Blended to Perfection....

Are you in the mood for a glass of scotch? What type shall it be? I mean, the term ‘scotch’ is quite a broad one. Scotch whisky is mainly of two types- malt whisky, and grain whisky. While the earlier one consists of 100% malted barley and is distilled in pot stills, the latter is made in column stills with a mixture of grain (maize or wheat), and a certain amount of malted barley. Scotch whisky is further categorized on the basis of distillation. Single malt and single grain whiskies are those, which are manufactured in a single distillery. Blended scotch, on the other hand, is made up of whiskies from more than one distillery. Its varieties include malt, grain, as well as a mixture of the two.

If you are in the mood for some single malt, then why not try out the heavenly and deliciously mellow Dalmore? The blended whiskies like Black Dog, to some extent are more intense than single malts, but an array of brews, mixed in distinct proportions, lends it a kind of richness.

Black Dog captures the best of both malt and grain whisky, and mingles the distinct features of scotch from various regions, to present our palates and olfactory devices with a sublime experience.
