Begin Your Scotch Experience With Black Dog

A lot of you might be tempted to try Scotch Whisky after seeing a character of a popular sitcom enjoy her glass. Well, unlike beer or vodka, getting down to drinking Whisky, especially Scotch may not be easy. Most people stay away from it because of the strong, smoky flavour.

Yet, you should remember that it's never too late to pick up a glass of Scotch. It will take you some time, but you will be able to get used to drinking it. All you need to do is to open up to it. You should start off with brands that are grown in the low land areas of Scotland because they do not have much of the smoky taste.
When you pour yourself a glass, try it without any additives first. Take in the aroma and sip it a bit first. Go slow so that your mouth gets accustomed to the taste. Once you are somewhat familiar to the taste, add a bit of water, drop by drop. You could also pour it over ice, commonly known as on the rocks.

Over time, you would get used to the taste of Scotch, known as the drink of the rich and aristocrats for generations past. When you are comfortable with the taste of the Lowland Ladies, you can move onto the bigger players like Black Dog.

Remember, a great Scotch can be enjoyed only with a relaxed mind. And don't forget your smoking pipe!
