Okay, now weekend is here, and your friends have suddenly
called you up, and invited themselves over for a few drinks from your bottle of
Black Dog Scotch Whiskey. You are more than happy, as now you know the secrets behind hosting an ideal scotch party. Also, you do have a few mouth-watering cocktails up your sleeve. But, you have no idea what dish to
serve to go with them. What would you do? The solution is simple. Here are three
of the best vegetarian dishes to pair with this fine brand of scotch.
- · Paneer tikka- This gourmet dish goes extremely well with scotch. Pieces of paneer are marinated in a mixture of spices, and are grilled in a traditional tandoor, along with pieces of capsicum, tomatoes and onions, and are served with a dash of lemon juice. However, in this case, do try to go easy on the lemon juice, as fruits with high citrus content do not go well with scotch.

- · Veg Pakoras- Pakora is without doubt, the nation’s favourite snack! Pieces of vegetables are dipped in a batter made of flour or gram flour (besan) and are deep fried in oil. You can choose any vegetable for your pairing session, but do note that potato, onion and cheese pakoras go really well with your glass of Black Dog Scotch.

- · Crispy Chilli Baby Corn- Okay. Now this one is a dish borrowed from our fellow Asian nation- Thailand. This dish entered the Indian food scenario about a decade back, and took the country by storm! Pieces of baby corn are covered in corn flour, fried in oil, and are finally sautéed in a mixture of sauces, spices and vegetables. It would not be wrong to say, that this dish is loved and savoured by vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
Black Dog is a fine blend of whisky, and opens up doors for
your various senses for an exquisite experience. Now that you know what to pair
with it, go ahead, and prepare your palates for a treat!
